Povidone Iodine IU Douche

Povidone-Iodine Intra-Uterine Douche
It is a broad-spectrum antibacterial solution specifically formulated for intrauterine use in mares, cows and ewes. It is indicated for treatment of endometritis.
Composition
Each 50ml contains I g of povidone-iodine, equivalent to I 00mg of elemental iodine.
Directions for use
Prior lavage of the uterus is recommended: use a physiological saline solution. For post-partum endometritis infuse 50-100ml Povidone-Iodine Intra-Uterine Douche into the uterus using a sterile pipette. Allow the solution to remain in the uterus. Repeat if necessary after a few weeks.
