Apex Animal Health’s Tranquillo Powder is a nutraceutical supplement assisting with the management of anxious, excitable, or stressed horses. Tranquillo Powder does not sedate, but calms the horse, and is thus safe for use prior and during competition or training. L-Tryptophan and L-Theanine are essential amino acids which cannot be synthesized by the body and must thus be supplemented. Theanine’s anxiolytic properties aid in the management of anxiety during stressful situations. Tryptophan is the sole precursor of serotonin, which is the neurotransmitter in the brain that helps your horse feel calm.
